Barbershops are a classic throwback to simpler times. They were a place for guys to gather, talk sports, complain and of course get a good haircut. Thankfully, the Empire Barber Shop is still doing that today. Part of the Southwest Square, the guys at Empire have been cutting hair for the locals since 1995.

The shop is exactly what you would expect with chairs to wait in while reading Sports Illustrated or watching the game on TV. Pictures of classic sports icons grace the walls and of course, they have a barbershop pole out front.

Come on in for a shave or perhaps a buzz cut (the house special).
