Since 1986, Mongkut Thai has been one of the most popular restaurants in downtown San Clemente. The interior is decorated with Thai antiques and a warm decor. The staff at this restaurant makes everyone feel welcome. Many different curries are served such as yellow, red, green, pineapple, panang and mussaman. Most of the lunch specials come with a salad and the entrée. Peanut dressing is available on most anything and the menu is very varied with teriyaki chicken or beef along with the many usual Thai restaurant dishes.
