Mixt Greens was founded in San Francisco in 2005 and has since been voted San Francisco Chronicle's 'Best Healthy Lunch' in the San Francisco Bay Area, as well as being certified as a 'Bay Area Green Business', one of only five restaurants with this designation. The company's CEO is Richard Cervera.Richard Cervera developed numerous restaurant concepts and was most recently the co-founder and CEO of Edun (an environmentally and ethically based fashion brand started with Bono and his wife Ali Hewson).A talented team leads Mixt Greens, bringing experience from notable organizations like Le Pain Quotidien, Peet’s Coffee and graduates from the Culinary Institute of America. Michael Gats is our Chief Financial Officer, Tony Alcala is V.P of Operations, Julio Guerrero is Director of Development, Jason Hattenburg is the Director of IT and Eli Cole heads our catering team.The company has successfully opened new stores in Washington D.C. and Los Angeles and plans to open additional stores in new markets, holding true to the original vision of advocating healthy, sustainable and delicious food.
