Saha is owned and run by husband and wife team, Mohamed and Marmee Aboghanem. Marmee leads the front of house and wine selections while Mohamed's expertise is the food. The dishes are a unique blend of traditional Yemenese Arabic cuisine and barrier pushing California cuisine. Mohamed hails originally from Yemen, the southern tip of the Arabian peninsula. After leaving as a young man he traveled extensively through Europe embracing the traditions and flavors of the countries of his travels. The dishes at Saha are a reflection of the creative combination of the chef's native Yemenese upbringing and his yearn to explore and embrace the delicacies of the countries he's traveled to and adopted as his home. Only the freshest ingredients are used, and there is a large variety of vegetarian options.
