This is the local outpost for the national Pick Up Stix restaurant chain. Stix is a fast food restaurant offering Asian inspired dishes.  Founded in 1989, Charlie Zhang introduced flavorful Chinese food that was fast and prepared to order in an iron wok. Zhang uses fresh ingredients in his dishes and from his one restaurant in Santa Margarita, Zhang has expanded this concept to over 90 locations in the tri-state area. Diners are able to watch their food being prepared in the restaurant's open kitchen. Stix also has a separate catering menu for larger gatherings amongst friends. There is a small outdoor area for dining al fresco.
