Cake Creations Bakery, in business since 1995 in San Mateo, is located in the Fiesta Gardens neighborhood one block from the YMCA in the Rite Aid Shopping center. The cakes are home-made from scratch and to order. The bakery can accommodate gluten-free and vegetarian dietary restrictions and even offers egg substitute cakes. Cakes can be made for all occasions, specializing in Coffee Crunch Cakes, fresh Strawberry Short Cakes, Tres Leche Cakes, Chocolate Mousse and Black Forest Cakes. There is an extensive menu on the website including deli sandwiches, pies, pastries, specialty coffee drinks and regular coffee. Cake Creations takes phone orders, walk-ins and web orders, in addition to providing prepared foods for eat-in customers. Gift cards are available as well. Please allow two weeks for birthday cake orders, and email orders should be confirmed by the bakery.
