For 25 years they have raised their family in the restaurant just like Tom did, and have been the recipients of many awards, such as Best or Most Popular Breakfast House in Santa Barbara.Being a Carpinteria family, the owners have longed to return to their home town. An Esau's was once located here in Carpinteria, but due to the demands of a growing family it was decided to concentrate on the one and original Santa Barbara location. But times change and families grow up, and we are proud to have moved back to our roots here in Carpinteria.We continue the tradition of hearty servings and generous smiles, where the legend of Tom Esau's Coffee Shop and his famous pancakes continues to be a gathering place of locals and visitors from around the world.
