Canyon Fireplace History Canyon Fireplace was started in August of 1984 by Rob Lewis in his garage where his first remodeled designs were built. In 1992, the company moved into fabrication and distribution warehousing that was leased. In 1996, the entire Canyon staff created the first ever fireplace only Design Center in the Country. 1997 brought Canyon Fireplace to expanded warehouse facilities, doubling our square footage from just three years prior. Currently, Team Canyon is hard at work on our own custom building for fabrication and distribution while simultaneously creating satellite design centers in other geographic areas near and far. This growth was made possible by the following three principals: Quality Product To date, with 26 years of experience and thousands of fireplaces created across the Country, owner Rob Lewis still insists on personally creating every fireplace design. From the initial design through final detailing of the in-home product, Rob's final signature must parallel the products completion, always creating fireplaces as if they were for his own home. The future of this company depends on the very attitude it started with: insisting on providing the best possible product to our customers by focusing on the uncompromising quality of work and craftsmanship that Canyon Fireplace has become synonymous.
