La Salsa opened in 1979 and has since grown into a national chain. This local version is a true neighborhood taqueria. Regulars gather to eat, socialize and work on their laptops in the outdoor seating area. La Salsa is located inside the Plaza At The Arboretum on Colorado Avenue. The restaurant is bright, clean and surprisingly large with a second dining area to the right of the cashiers.
La Salsa offers Baja grilled fish tacos, chicken and avocado enchilada platters and overstuffed grilled burritos. The salsa is made fresh daily and includes fire-roasted tomato, Mexicana, salsa buena, verde and more. La Salsa also offers a kids' menu.
