The Shack Restaurant & Bar is a family-friendly restaurant that brings a bit of Philadelphia to the Westside of Los Angeles. The atmosphere is very laid-back, with sawdust on the floor, a billiard table in the middle of the dining room, darts and video games. Surfing regalia and sports memorabilia are hung throughout the restaurant. During football season, the bar caters to Philadelphia Eagles fans. The menu here is famous for the burgers. The signature Shack Burger that put this place on the map is a fresh-ground, 100 percent beef patty, dressed with the works and topped with a grilled butterflied Louisiana Hot Link. Buffalo patties and lettuce wrap substitutions for buns are available. Of course, the kitchen also makes several Philly cheese steak plates. Daily specials are posted on a large chalkboard. Happy Hour is from 4pm to 7pm.
