The three Wahoo brothers created a unique restaurant in 1988 in Orange County, combining their love of surfing in Mexico, food, and their Brazilian and Chinese heritage. One of the many locations in California, this Wahoo's location serves tacos, burritos, enchiladas and bowls in a fun, casual atmosphere with a Hawaiian surf vibe. Stickers of Wahoo's, surfing brands, skating brands, indie bands and anything else are plastered onthe walls and windows. To order, customers choose a filling from flame-grilled or blackened fish, chicken breast, carne asada, shrimp, carnitas, tofu, mushrooms or veggies, along with a style from tacos, burritos, enchiladas, salads, sandwiches and bowls. Combos can be ordered with rice and choice of beans. Food is brought to the table after being ordered at the counter. Wahoo's party platters are available for catering events, along with merchandise like gift cards, shirts and hats.
