Built in 1898 by the san francisco yacht club, horizons offer one of the most spectacular restaurant water views on the west coast.back in the early's 1900s, the yacht club was the center for gala parties, yacht races and regattas until the location was abandoned in 1927.it was not until 1959 that the building was purchased by a local sausalito family who leased the space out to what were to became two internationally acclaimed restaurants-ondine and trident.
