An old-time feel makes this little bakery tucked into the Sonoma Valley Shopping Center welcoming and sweet. The interior is simple and clean, with a few tables for customers who opt to eat their cookies, cakes, pastries, soups or sandwiches on the spot. Coffee, tea, espresso drinks and other basic refreshments are available. 

Scandia Bakery is most famous for their Swedish Princess cakes, and in fact are known as "the Queen of the Princess Cake." This decadent dessert is made of layered white cake and cream covered in thick marzipan. It is most often decorated in pale pastel colors and appears quite regal.

Along with the princess cakes Scandia offers a wide range of internationally inspired cookies and pastries like Mexican wedding cookies, Finnish stick cookies, tiramisu, Florentine rolls, vanilla custard eclairs and many more. It also does custom wedding cakes.
