The Town Square is Sonoma's Cheers. With five high-definition TVs, the local sports bar has become the place to go for Giants games. On game day, owner Steven Moore prepares food made in his own kitchen. A retired San Francisco firefighter, Moore displays his old gear from the force throughout the bar, including a slide pole. "Even tourists who come here say this is the neighborhood bar," Moore says. Sour Hour with Fizzy Bob the bartender takes place every Friday, with a potluck of snacks and plates served. Kathy Sanchez and Jamal Cook earned bragging rights for the bar with their first-place win in the coveted Battle of the Bartenders 2010.
