The Maurice Car'rie vineyard was founded in 1986 and is one of the first vineyards established in the region. Owners Budd and Maurice Van Roekel and winemaker Gus Vizgirda manage the winery built in a Victorian style farmhouse. The 46-acre vineyard also includes Van Roekel, its sister winery. Daily tastings are held at the winery from 10am to 5pm and include a logo glass to take home. Try a glass of the award winning gewurtztraminer and viognier with smoked tequila shrimp. Every Saturday and Sunday there is a craft fair held on the grounds where visitors may purchase handmade jewelry, paintings, ceramics, handbags and designer sunglasses.
