Bruce Rider & Sons is a third generation organic apple growing and packing company, supplying nearly 45 percent of the organic apple market. Established in the early 1900s as one of the earliest cold-packing sheds in Watsonville by Homer Rider, the business is still run by his grandsons and families. Specializing in delivering the freshest apples from varieties like Jonagold, Fuji and Braeburn, Bruce Rider & Sons also maintains several acres of flowers that are sold locally. Fresh-pressed apple ciders and juices are also available seasonally.
