The city's lakeside park offers boating, fishing, a playground and picnic area as well as overnight RV camping facilities. Bring your own boat, canoe, kayak or inflatable watercraft out to the lake, but be prepared to go through a boat inspection and pay a small launch fee. You also can rent small boats in the summer. There is a boat dock as well as platforms for fishing and birdwatching. On shore, play volleyball, horseshoes or softball. There are barbecue facilities and one picnic pavilion.
