It all began five years ago when I started a custom catering and supper delivery service for southern California residents. Our retail location in Westlake Village served as our kitchen and my office. Now and then someone would walk by and ask if we were open for lunch, so in the interest of making a new friend and maybe a new catering client, I'd throw something together for them.
