In September, 1988, Fred and Matoula Dallas opened their firstrestaurant on this site, which they built and named Bit of Country. Exactlyten years later, they passed the torch to their daughter and son-in-law,Helen and Mark Haro, and their dream of the Hickory Ranch Steakhousebecame reality. The Haros now carry on the family tradition of great foodand excellent service delivered in a warm, friendly atmosphere. All dishesare prepared fresh daily from the highest quality ingredients. HickoryRanch is known for homemade soups, all Certified Angus Beef® productsincluding steaks, hamburgers and delicious ribs, a variety of pasta andchicken specialties, and the freshest seafood selections.
