North Dock is Dry Dock’s production facility, located in north Aurora, CO. At this location, brewing and packaging operations take place within our 30,000 square foot building. The brewhouse is a 40 barrel, 4 vessel, computer operated system from Newlands Systems Integrated. The grist hopper, mash mixer and lauter tun are all oversized allowing us to brew full batches of “big” beers. The fermentation deck consists of both 80 and 120 barrel tanks, meaning every batch is actually 2 to 3 turns of the brewhouse. Beer from this location is clarified via centrifuge, then packaged into cans, kegs and bottles for distribution. In September of 2014, Dry Dock opened the Canoe Room, a four-tap tasting room inside of its North Dock facility. The tasting room, which in addition to draft beer, serves Dry Dock’s canned offerings. The room was once the storage area for The Boy Scouts of America Aurora chapter’s canoes and the area gained the nickname “Canoe Room,” which stuck. Customers can now visit the Canoe Room at North Dock on Thursdays from 2pm to 7pm and Friday and Saturdays from 12pm – 7pm.
