The family owned and operated Common Grounds coffee shop has been a fixture in Branford Center for over a decade. It offers specialty coffees and "flavors of the day," such as Almond Joy. Comfy couches and long tables provide lots of space to work and there is free internet access.

There are about 10 tables inside and 6 metal tables outside by the street. Local artists feature their work periodically and most is for sale.

Owner Wilson Jara also owns Shoreline Cafe down the street from Common Grounds.
