Owned by Fairfield resident Andrew Pane since 1994, Pizza Post is a carb lover's paradise. It's no coincidence that Pane means "bread" in Italian, and dough is definitely a highlight of a visit to this charming spot. The bistro-style interior is more sophisticated than the average pizza joint, but the feeling is very family-friendly--Pane's wife and kids chip in and work here, too. They help turn out creative pasta dishes, baked dishes, Italian entrees, gourmet pizza (whole wheat pizza is even available). Calzones, stuffed rolls and homemade pita wraps round out the menu.
