Located near the Connecticut-New York border, Stateline Deli has been family owned and operated by Greenwich residents since 1993. Although the store is called a deli, it really has more of a small restaurant feel. There is a large eating area and as owner Carol LaRusso says, "We offer quality restaurant food in a deli setting." The deli is customer oriented, making made-to-order sandwiches, and it is recommended you try its famous fresh roasted turkey. Everything is made from scratch, whether it be the hot food plates, freshly baked cakes, cookies or brownies. Most of the deli's recipes come from a 1944 Navy cook book.
