Puffins on The Thames is a pleasant breakfast and lunch place, with a view of the river. It has a large indoor seating area as well as a porch for outdoor dining. Breakfast items include eggs, french toast, pancakes, omelets and breakfast sandwiches while the lunch menu offers BLT sandwiches, Chicken Caesar Wrap, Build a Burger  and Garden Salad. Patrons with a hankering for seafood can try the Fried Clam Strips, Sea Scallops or Fish & Chips, 8 oz filet. Puffins also has appetizers such as onion wrings, buffalo quesadilla and chicken quesadilla. Muffins and other baked goods are on sale in the front. The restaurant is a part of Seabird Enterprises, an organization founded in 1983, which seeks to give vocational training to those with developmental disabilities. People working here get a chance to earn income and build important skills that foster a better quality of life.
