Ah, there's nothing like the smell of a working bakery—and that's what you get when you enter this charming, small bakeshop tucked in Guilford's Village Walk shopping plaza. Inside, glass cases display a variety of baked goods and small gift items. There's a view back into the baking area where owner and baker Nancy Ackerman rolls, mixes, bakes and otherwise concocts a delicious range of cakes, pastries and other bakery items. The three small tables are inviting for those who wish to dine in, but items can also be purchased for take-out.
