Founded in 1982 by the Sullivan Family, Dolores Sullivan, the gregarious owner, used her mother's Sicilian recipes to titillate Hartford's taste buds an inspiring pizza pie. Together with her son Darrell Sullivan they made Lena's Pizza an event in dining. No pomp and circumstance, just great pizza. The menu evolved to soups made fresh daily.
