DOC?S had been synonymous with Lake Waramaug in New Preston, CT for the past 15-20 years. Roberto and Paulette Pizzo purchased the small lakeside restaurantin 1999, creating the Trattoria. After 9 years of tremendous success and loyal patrons,this small trattoria was in search of a bigger home. In April 2008, DOC?S moved intoit?s new home at 9 Maple Street, down the road in Kent.The tradition of DOC?S Trattoria is rooted in Roberto?s childhood in Sicily, where he grew up surrounded by family that embodied the Italian eaterie. That traditionhas been broughtto DOC?S where Italian meals are served with a warm, family feel, true to it?s name, Trattoria.
