Inside the MGM building at Foxwoods, Shrine serves sushi and other Asian dishes. It also features a lounge and night club. With entrances at the ground floor and a balcony level, Shrine has many tables, a dance floor and a lounge. The atmosphere is one of sophistication and exclusivity. The ground floor entrance is designed in the style of a pagoda. Inside, tables are mood-lit by red lanterns. Asian statuary completes the temple aesthetic. There is a cover charge on Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays; $20 for men and $10 for women. Events include DJs and dance parties. Women can enter free of charge before Fridays and Saturdays. Shrine also does VIP seating and arranges private events such as bachelorette parties. Drink specialties include martinis, cocktails, sake, sparkling wines and bottled beer.
