Since 1909, Barberry Hill Farms has provided families in Madison with flowers, tomatoes, firewood, and other locally grown and handmade goods from its Boston Post Rd. farm. In addition to a local farm stand, Barberry Hill Farms participates in six farmer's markets state-wide. The farm specializes in poultry products, turkey, and grass-fed, pastured lamb as well. The farm is well known locally for the Oriental rugs it sells on the weekends.

Community Supported Agriculture shares are available by the season or half-season. In the fall, the farm allows local families to dump their leaves, which are then turned into compost to enrich the soil. Owners Kingsley and Kelly Goddard and their five children are lifelong Madison residents. The farm is a participant in the Dinners at the Farm series, which helps raise money for local agricultural and humanitarian non-profit organizations.
