Wilcox Technical School graduate, Paul Vumbaco opened the bar eight years ago in hopes of bringing back great pub food and entertainment to the Meriden bar scene. It is very active within the community and hosts numerous charity events throughout the year, including the ever popular St Baldrick's Fundraiser. The pub is known for its happy hour, hot wings, steamed cheeseburgers, hot dogs and delicious lunch specials. Year after year, Quality Time has earned the "Best Sports Bar, Best Bar/Lounge, Best Place for Live Entertainment" awards in the Record Journal's Peoples Choice Awards.
