Outdoor Cookers Catering and Event Planning has an office and kitchens currently located on Van Zant Street in East Norwalk, and was founded in 1985 by Michael Gilmartin, who started out doing old-fashioned barbecues, clambakes and theme parties. Since then, it has grown into a full-service firm offering complete event management for formal weddings, bar/bat mitzvahs and fundraisers, from food and beverages, to decor, tents, entertainment, audio/video production and more. Over the years, Outdoor Cookers Catering and Event Planning's clients have included many prominent individuals, civic organizations and multinational corporations in Fairfield County, Westchester and beyond. It can help clients plan an event for 25 guests or one for a crowd in excess of 8,000. Outdoor Cookers Catering and Event Planning is fully insured and it will even let a client pick up an order, if staff is not required for the event.
