Avtar Singh, owner and executive chef of Star of India, opened this restaurant in Orange on Boston Post Road in February 2008 after 15 years working as head chef at different Indian restaurants accross the state. His culinary experience started in India in 1987.
Star of India is simple but elegant and offers a variety of expertly prepared and wonderfully spiced, authentic Indian dishes. The food is delicious and the staff is friendly and helpful.
