When it comes to fresh-made deli items, Garden Catering is probably on the tips of many Stamford residents' tongues (and taste buds).  One of eight locations throughout Fairfield and Westchester counties, the High Ridge Road store is compact and often crowded, especially around lunchtime. Founded in 1977 by the late Lou Landoli and reopened in 1991 after his 1990 death, Garden is especially well-known for its fried chicken, chicken nuggets and fast service.  As a popular caterer for corporate events, BBQs, birthdays and fundraisers, Garden Catering has won numerous Weekly Best Of Fairfield County Readers' Polls (including "Best Lunch," "Best Caterer" and "Best Deli.")
