Matthew's Restaurant was named the Hartford Advocate's Best New Restaurant of 2010 after its opening in October 2009. Matthews offers an intimate dining experience and is frequented by mostly couples.
Matthew's is one of the only restaurants around that prepares some food items – caesar salads and bananas foster among others – right at your table. It has a full bar available to its patrons and occasionally has a raw oyster bar available.
There is a patio for outdoor seating when the weather is appropriate. Matthew's is located on Mill Street next to The Dance Connection.
