Bob and Nancy Charles are your hosts at the lovely High Meadow Bed & Breakfast on Whirlwind Hill Road in Wallingford. Surrounded by farmland, a pond and gardens, the house is a historic 18th-century jewel. It was moved from its prior location and then painstakingly reconstructed with true-to-the-period — down to the nails — on this, the site of the family's former farm in Wallingford.

High Meadow has three private rooms in the main house, each with central air and their own bath. Also on the property is the The Brae Cottage. The cottage is handicapped accessible with walk-in showers and no steps. Guests may stay at the cottage by the night, by the week or for longer visits.
