Willington Pizza started as a one-man operation on August 14, 1979 with only four tables. The company now facilitates seating more than 200 with a private party room for special occasions. Willington Pizza has won every pizza award in Tolland County from Connecticut Magazine to the University of Connecticut s Daily Campus newspaper. The company also had national recognition from ABC s Good Morning America, CBS s This Morning and a front-page feature in the New York Times.
