The Altamonte Ale House in Altamonte Springs, Fla., is one of more than 30 locations for the regional restaurant chain. The original Ale House was opened as a local meeting place and restaurant in Jupiter, Fla., in 1988 by Jack and Claire Miller. The company has steadily grown ever since. In 2002, the Ale House restaurants were named a Regional Powerhouse Chain by Nation s Restaurant News. The Ale House serves lunch and dinner and serves a wide variety of dishes. The menu offers steaks, original pasta dishes, fresh seafood, healthy salads, robust sandwiches and homemade desserts, served within the comfortable social atmosphere of a neighborhood tavern. Each restaurant also features its own 'specials' menu, which includes a variety of appetizers and entrees. In addition, all Ale House restaurants contain a full-service bar that features wine, liquor and more than 75 varieties of beer.
