A Touch of Class is known for its great live music selection and its homecooked soul food feasts. Musical acts range from R&B, reggae and jazz during the week to popular dance music on weekend nights as the lounge caters to the club scene. A $10 cover on Sunday nights includes its plentiful spread of homestyle fried chicken, steak and gravy, collard greens and more. The restaurant intends to begin serving lunch in 2011. A Touch of Class is partly owned and operated by former NFL Pro Bowler and Manatee County native Henry Lawrence.
