Karl Geier started working in his father's meat market and sausage kitchen at an early age. He learned the trade under his father's watchful eye and received his Master Sausage Maker Diploma Metzgermeister Brief under the strict rules of the German Sausage Maker's Guild. Moving permanently to the United States in the mid-sixties Karl ran the operations of a major German sausage company. In the early eighties the Geier's settled in Sarasota, Florida, where they opened Geier's Sausage Kitchen located at 7447 S. Tamiami Trail. Geier's commitment to quality is far above the norm for the industry. Karl's personal belief is to use only the freshest and highest quality ingredients in all of our products. This sets Geier's way above most of the other companies. His all around knowledge and commitment to quality in the meat and sausage business in second to none.
