Passerbys can catch the delicious aroma of Pompey's Seafood's grills from several blocks away and it's hard to miss the brightly, painted yellow building with the blue roof on the corner of 9th Street and 26th Avenue East.
Fresh fish, shrimp, crab and other seafood, is grilled or fried right on the premises, and are the specialities of Owner and Head Chef, Pompey. Pompey carefully hand-selects and purchases only the finest and freshest seafood to serve to his customers. Also enjoy french fries or hush puppies with your fresh seafood.
Starting November 4, 2010, Pompey is adding a breakfast menu that will be available Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays with affordable prices ranging from $1.79 to $3.99.
Pompey's Seafood also caters and delivers ($40 minimum within a five-mile radius). Parking is at a premium so the best bet is to call orders in ahead of time and take a friend. On hot days customers may spy friendly Pompey and his chefs chilling under the shade of a huge oak tree near the back of restaurant.
