Owned by a nice franchisee couple, Pita's Republic has a plethora of Greek and Middle Eastern gyros (pronounced "yee-ro" by the way), salads, tabouli and baklava. The pitas are frsh and fluffy, and the beef and lamb gyro meat is tender and tasty. The menu also consists of veggie entrees, like the cold pitas, and low-calorie ice cream.
