Arigato's Japanese Steak House is located on the corner of 580 and US 19 N just down from Westfield Countryside Shopping Mall. Pass through the two large Buddas guarding the entrance to the restaurant. Try a Tempura appetizer or Japanese egg rolls to get started. Vegetable, chicken and scallop tempura are offered as dinners. There is chicken, filet mignon or one of the more popular, the karate chop, which has a steak filet and a chicken arigato. It was voted best restaurant in Tampa Bay. There are early bird specials offered Monday through Saturday from 5pm to 6pm and Sunday from 4pm to 5pm. To-go spaces are designated and in the front with a cute sign that reads, "Food to go, All others will be karate chopped." All to-go orders get 25 percent off.
