Star Fish Company is located in Cortez Village and can be found on the northern edge of Sarasota Bay. It is one of the few remaining working waterfronts left in Florida. The view from Star's dock is incredible, and it includes mangrove islands, Jewfish Key, Longboat Key and Bradenton Beach. Star Fish Company offers both local and  commercial fishing fleets to provide patrons with one of the most scenic places found on Florida's Gulf Coast.
Star Fish Company strives to serve simple Florida seafood prepared in the simplest of ways. Most items are either fried, grilled, blackened or sauteed while sides are kept simple, too. Sides include coleslaw, cheese grits and French fries. Of course, don't forget about Star Fish Company's world-famous hush puppies too.
