Turtle Kraals Restaurant, an icon of Key West.Our newly remodeled exhibition kitchen is tooled with the industry best Southern Pride smoker oven and an open flame mesquite grill. We will continue to serve the freshest seafood, direct from our own fish market, but weve expanded our menu to include succulent meats grilled or smoked with a Southwestern flair. Choose to dine in our air-conditioned dining room, on our covered patio just steps away from the Gulf, or above the fray in our Tower Bar overlooking the Historic Seaport.First, our ribs, pork butts, beef brisket and chicken are slow-smoked over smoldering wood for up to 14 hours. The heat and sauce penetrate deep into every layer of meat, turning it a pinkish color while enriching every juicy mouthful with rich, smoky flavor.
