Don't let the word 'deli' in the restaurant name fool you. This is no run-of-the-mill sandwich shop and pizzeria. Owned by the Mannino family – originally from Carino, Italy – the business carries the motto of "Your family is our family." It boasts a varied menu of dishes that are sure to please everyone's palate.
In addition to wings, mozzarella sticks and garlic knots, unique appetizers include coconut shrimp, mussels and riceballs. Hot and cold subs (also available as wraps) are made the authentic way – with lettuce, tomato, oil and vinegar.
You'll also find Italian favorites such as calzones, strombolis and, of course, pizza. Leave room for dessert and a drink or two; you can choose from tiramisu, cannolis, sfogliattles (shell-shaped filled pastries) or zeppolies paired with an espresso or cappuccino.
There are plenty of tables and chairs so bring a big group with you, but delivery is not an option.
