The Cupcake Spot opened its doors as Tampa Bay’s first specialty gourmet cupcake-only confectionery in trendy South Tampa on December 18, 2007. We not only debuted our delicious cupcakes that day, but also introduced the world to our adorable mascot, “Cuppy” who has become as popular as the single serving delights our staff bakes each day. The Cupcake Spot reserves our top 20 flavors for daily retail in each of the stores. But, from time to time, we also rotate in new or seasonal flavors (like the Bacon Maple-ishus or our Pumpkin cupcake).
