The interior decor of Vallartas is very colorful and cheerful. The sun and flower  designed painted furniture and wall decor adds a fun feeling to the eating area.

Vallartas is considered affordable by the patrons, if it is a special occasion. Bring a translator—the Mexican authenticity extends to the staffing choice. 

Good portion sizes are served, its chicken flautas (ask for them, off the menu) or its milanesa (breaded steaks) are delicious and so are the margaritas.

The restaurant is bigger than the storefront suggests. Even so, prepare to wait more than an hour for a table on Cinco de Mayo.
