This Zaxby's is a freestanding location in front of Georgia Square Mall. It is one of five in Athens that are all corporately-owned, while the great majority of the other locations are franchised. Manager Carrie Francis, who has worked at all the different Athens' Zaxby's, raves about this location because of great clientele and exceptional cleanliness. 

Zaxby's recently started offering online ordering in Athens for pickup. Additionally, it offers catering options for big parties and recommends calling one hour in advance on gamedays.
