Makara is less a restaurant than it is a take-out stand. There are seven tables inside and five more outside on the patio. The fare includes falafel, lamb, beef and chicken gyros, shish-ka-bobs, baklava and hummus. All of it is served made-to-order by the fast and friendly cook. Makara offers lunch specials every day. The restaurant also delivers and caters meals.
