Ted's Montana Grill is a restaurant launched by media mogul and entrepreneur Ted Turner. It features "made from scratch comfort food" such as cedar plank salmon, crabcakes, meat loaf, trout and "beer can" chicken. Its trademark menu item is bison, which Turner promotes as healthier than beef. It also offers menu options that are low calorie, low carb and gluten free. Ted's is pro-environment, so the restaurant uses less water, and offers paper straws, biodegradable cups and to-go containers. The interior is supposed to be reminiscent of a Montana bar and grill circa 1900, complete with burnished brass and tiled floors. Ted's is a national chain with 57 restaurants in 20 states. This branch is across from the AMC Theater inside The Avenue Forsyth.
